Frame Running Development Camp & World International Cup July 5 - 12 2026

A Week of Movement Joy, Community and International Experiences

Frame Running Camp & Cup is much more than a camp – it is an international celebration of diversity, friendship and the joy of movement. A week where the focus is on what you can do, and where everyone is welcome regardless of level, experience or ambition.

In 2026, Frame Running Development Camp & World international Cup will be held for the 29th time, taking place from 5–12 July 2026. The camp will be hosted at Bagsværd School and Bagsværd Stadium, and this will be the second time we have the pleasure of hosting Frame Running Camp & Cup in Bagsværd, which provides the perfect setting for training, competition and community.

A Week Full of Sport, Community and Development

Frame Running Camp Development & World International Cup brings together athletes, coaches, assistants and team leaders from all over the world. The week offers focused and inspiring training sessions, social activities and a major international competition – all within an inclusive environment where there is room for elite athletes, recreational runners, beginners and experienced Frame Runners alike.

In 2025, 97 Frame Running athletes and their assistants and team leaders from 21 countries participated, and interest in the camp has grown steadily over the years. Our international coaching course is particularly popular and reached a record participation of 15 course participants in 2025.

Social Community at the Heart of the Camp

For us, the social community is just as important as training and competition. Throughout the week, a variety of fun and engaging evening activities are offered, including mixed-team star and relay races, board games and social gatherings across national borders. The week concludes with a festive closing party, celebrating the experiences, the community and the many new friendships formed during the camp.

Focus on the Development of the Sport

The development of Frame Running is a key element of the camp. During the week, several international development meetings are held, including an international athletes’ meeting as well as meetings for coaches and team leaders. Here, experiences, knowledge and ideas are shared, bringing together global expertise in Frame Running in one place – a truly unique opportunity for learning and inspiration.

Training with Experienced Coaches

The first three days of the week are dedicated to training. Athletes are divided into training groups based on running speed and level. Training is led by experienced coaches from clubs and the Danish national team, supported by participants from the Frame Running coaching course. The course is conducted in English and combines theoretical knowledge with practical exercises, ensuring that new insights are quickly put into practice.

A World-Class International Cup

The final three days feature the Frame Running Cup, conducted in accordance with the World Para Athletics rules and regulations. Four competition categories are held simultaneously, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to compete at an appropriate level:

  • World International Cup

  • Frame Running Open Cup

  • Frame Running Masters Cup (30 years +)

  • Frame Running Junior Open Cup

Which competition an athlete participates in depends on age, class and discipline. The Masters Cup ensures that athletes of all ages have the opportunity to compete on equal terms with their peers.

Making It Possible Together

Our sponsors play a crucial role in making Frame Running Camp & Cup possible, and we are deeply grateful for their support.

Do You Want to Be Part of Something Truly Special?

If you dream of becoming part of a unique community where we do not focus on limitations, but on the athlete and the person behind the sport – and where you gain friendships and experiences for life – then Frame Running Camp & Cup is for you.
