The idea to organize such an event came to us spontaneously and due to the fact, that in our area Frame Running is still little known. In our city and province so far, there have been no competitions or opportunities to learn about this wonderful sport. So, we gathered some ideas and created our event. We wanted not only to organize a sports competition, but to create opportunities for people with movement disabilities to have fun and meet together, and to present the advantages of Frame Running.

The whole meeting turned out to be a great success, we were visited by athletes from all over Poland who were already titled in Frame Running competitions, as well as a lot of disabled people who personally experienced their first steps and runs for the first time in their lives thanks to our initiative.
The youngest participant was 7 years old, the oldest was 40 years old, and a total of 20 athletes competed in the stadium at distances of 40m, 60m, 100m, 200m, 400m and 800m in junior/senior categories by gender. Each competitor received a commemorative T-shirt and medal, and the best received cups. A great thing turned out to be the meeting of professional Frame Running athletes with novices and people trying this type of activity for the first time. We noticed an exchange of views, contacts and a lot of positive relations, and we were asked to repeat the meeting next year.
To our surprise, we were visited by national television, and coverage of our event could be seen on the main news edition of news television, on regional television channels and on sports television. It is worth mentioning that we would not have been able to organize our sporting event had it not been for the support of the Zlotowianka Foundation and the Frame Running Poland club, who provided us with Frame Runners for the competition, so that brand new people could freely enjoy the meeting and take part in this type of competition for the first time in their lives - This seems to have been our greatest success.
The fascination and all our activities regarding Frame Running came about because of our daughter Teresa Jastrzębska, who last year won gold medals in the junior women's category at the Polish Championships, and the CPISRA championships in Denmark in Copenhagen, thanks to her and this wonderful sport we noticed how the life of a disabled person can change. We want to spread Frame Running and promote it so that it also changes the lives of others, so we established the Unique Life - Wyjątkowe Życie Foundation and its affiliated sports club Frame Running, and to support and unite as many people as possible in this amazing sport.
