As tradition dictates, week 28 once again brought the annual Frame Running Camp & Cup to Frederiksberg. The event was filled with training sessions, competitions, and – most importantly – lifelong friendships that continue to fuel the development of Frame Running.
As tradition dictates, week 28 once again brought the annual Frame Running Camp & Cup to Frederiksberg.
The event was filled with training sessions, competitions, and – most importantly – lifelong friendships that continue to fuel the development of Frame Running.
There was speed and joy in abundance as Parasport Frederiksberg opened its doors to the 28th edition of the Frame Running Camp & Cup. This year, 97 athletes from 18 countries participated in training, competitions, and social activities.
A new feature this year was the relay race held after the opening ceremony. Lithuania, Sweden, and Denmark each fielded a team of four athletes, mixed across classes and genders. Although the relay was not part of the official competition program, it showed great potential for future inclusion.
Several social events were also on the schedule. Notably, the French delegation hosted an “Inclusive Theque” – a festive evening that proved to be a great success and helped strengthen the international community spirit among the participants.
Chairman of the organizing committee, Mansoor Siddiqi, stated:
"It has been a great year of events. I am especially pleased that competitions were held at all levels—from beginners to elite athletes—with many close finishes. The same applies to our Masters Cup, where participants aged 30 and above are divided into 10-year age categories. This was the second time we hosted the Masters Cup, and it was a great success. We look forward to welcoming even more Danish and international participants in 2026".
Parasport Frederiksberg extends a heartfelt thank you to Frederiksberg Municipality, Frederiksberg Stadium, and Rema 1000 on Jyllingevej for their excellent cooperation – and to our sponsors, with special thanks to the Elsass Foundation and BPA Support.
We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who made this camp possible – especially our volunteers, whose tireless efforts make this event happen year after year. We already look forward to welcoming the world’s Frame Runners to next year’s camp!
